Newspapers in SC

Started by Abby 7/16/2012 10:58:27 PM

Hello all!

I am about to move to Florence, SC and I was wondering how the newspapers were around there.  Are the coupons pretty good?  Is one paper preferable over another?  Anyone know of good deals for the papers?

Thanks in advance!

The Florence Morning News should have the same coupons in it as The State out Columbia.  So you are in a good boat, just get the local paper.  As for deals... you are best to subscribe probably and wait to find someone offering it in the grocery store with a gift card promotion back.

We get the Sunday paper (The State) delivered for around $1 a paper, but to pay for it in the store it can be up to $3 depending on the time of year.

Our Paper in GReenville SC is $2.50. We usually don't have the "good" coupons. But I don't purchase the paper here anymore. I order them from www . CouponconnectionIdaho . com

It's $.55 per insert and $3 for shipping.. great coupons too

Thanks for the information Jenny and Christie!

I'm trying to decide between the State and Florence's paper.  May just do some trial and error between those and purchasing the inserts!
