Where do you buy your printer ink from?

Started by Kime' , author of Adventures of the Domesticated Mama 2/6/2012 1:18:24 PM

I am in need of toner for my brother 2270dw mono laser printer. Anyone know where I can get some TN450 toner for a decent price?

Thanks!

Ebay all the time. I have a Brother DCP 7020 and I buy my toner from there all the time. It's a few bucks cheaper than Amazon and way cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. Make sure that you buy OEM toner sealed in its Brother packaging, not remanufactured generic toner. I got burned once doing this. Using generic will void your warranty. I tend to search for newly listed Buy it Now's because those tend to have the best pricing.

Also to note is that it's okay if it is expired. It still works well as long as it is still sealed.

I used to get mine from www.swapink.com but switched last fall to www.inkgrabber.com ... I use a different kind of toner & I did not look up your brand but I am going to guess that it's in between $25-$35

If you decide to get your toner from inkgrabber make sure to go through www.shopathome.com to get 25% cashback! (it's usually 15% cashback- today only it is 25%) Plus there should be some coupon codes for free shipping and/or $$ off your purchase right on the inkgrabber site as well as whatever is listed on shopathome.

I just saw that inkgrabber actually has an ad on SouthernSavers! I did not know that bc I just joined.

Anyways I was going to mention you should check eBay if you're looking for an even better deal but AuthorMom beat me to it & said everything I would have! LOL

Good Luck!

Amazon.com

anybody buy compatible toner? The main reason I got this printer is  because Jenny said you can get toner for $20-$30. That was what I paid before for regular ink.

Through ebates you can go to ink4less.  I got 15 cartridges for the price of one and they are great!

Definitely ebay!  My (black) Epson cartridges are almost $16 each at office depot; I found them (remanufactured) on ebay for $5.99 AND office depot will give me $2 back for the empty cartridges!!

I am one happy camper :-)!

Hi, I just bought toner refill powder from Ebay. It was $8.50 including shipping and will print 7,000 pages. It is not like filling an inkjet. It took about three minutes to dump the old powder out and put in the new powder. They even sent a glove. You can refill the cartridge twice then you need a whole new drum. It really saves a lot of $$$$$.

Meritline.com has remanufactured for $15-$20.  The last one I bought lasted 10 months and I had no problems at all.  All my coupons scanned and I print a LOT of coupons.  Good luck.
