buying coupons

Started by Emily 7/31/2011 5:25:30 PM

Hi everyone! My usual newspaper stands were sold out today. I've never bought coupon inserts before, but there were some really good ones so I think I will. Where should I look? How can I find a trustworthy source? It is it more expensive than just a paper? What else do I need to know?

Emily,

I use wholecouponinserts.com.  I did not order this week from them, but I usually do (I just went and picked up a few papers from the store).  You can order single inserts or bulk quantities, and normally you receive them within 3 - 4 days (Depending on where you live).  They are from the Tampa area, and I have been very satisfied so far!!!   You can also check out ebay.  HTH

I use Coupons by Dede.  She is quick, but she limits how many you can get of each coupon, she also sells whole inserts.  I have also ordered from Coupons Unlimited. Most places have a $5 min order plus shipping, but you get the coupons that you want instead of the entire insert that you might only need one or two coupons from.  I usually order with my mom because believe it or not, $5 worth of coupons are a lot.  And you are not buying coupons, you are using a clipping service that charges you for their TIME and clipping, not the coupons.  I got "YELLED" at once for saying that I was buying coupons.....

Have you tried a home delivery subscription? I just finally signed up and am getiing 2 Sunday only for only $5.80 a month. At the store I was paying $12.72, a huge savings plus the 4 miles to the closest store.

I use eBay a bit. It is very easy if there are buy it now options. If you are trying to make a sale within the week, you really can't afford to do a regular bidding auction. If you are looking for something that is hard to find or the clipping sites are out of, eBay is your place. I would start with the clipping sites first, though.

I offer shipping services for folks of the Atlanta inserts.  I have leftovers from this last paper (7/31) that I am looking to clear out for $2/paper+ actual shipping costs.  If you are interested you can reach me at kim at thecouponshipper dot com.  I have references and can ship same day.  I can do week to week purchasing as well as monthly purchasing deals, so let me know and I can explain my pricing system.  Thanks!

I use wholecouponinserts.com also! I love this site. One time I had ordered like just say 5 coupons inserts (can't remember) and they forgot half my order.. Human mistake.. I contacted them via email they responded within hours and were shipped straight to me. I opened my package and they had sent me extras that I was not expecting. (i guess for messing up) I was very pleased and that was the only time in 2 month that they goofed up! If I am buying one single coupon already cut I ise coupon dede though. Hope this helps :)

Hi, there. I use thecouponclippers.com for individual coupons or koupon-kash.com for whole inserts. I just got a note that my 7/31 inserts shipped this morning, so I know to expect them on Wednesday. It really helps - Atlanta gets so many coupons that the rest of the Georgia markets don't, and inevitably, it's something my family wants.

One note about TCC: there is a minimum order, which ends up being a LOT of coupons. You may want to go in with a friend of family member and split the cost.

If you really want Atlanta inserts try AJCInserts.com.  They're the cheapest and the best so far.  Insert Insanity is out of Tampa and they appear to have the best prices.  Whole Coupon Inserts is great but the most expensive.  HTH

Yes I agree.  I have also gotten coupons from Ebay but I only pay $.99 for 100.

Everyone has great ideas... good luck.
