Family fun has a bunch of fun treat ideas.  Here is one that could work.  You might have to dip marshmallows in chocolate before going to the school to help cut down on the mess.

You can also do the Pilgrim hats with a mini peanut butter cup~ that might be easier.

Instructions Here: Pilgrim Hat Cookies

Another idea would be apple turkeys. There are lots of ideas for doing these. I just did a google image search and found lots of variations. They are pretty self explanatory to make, but here are a couple pics: You can use any small items for the tail~ marshmallows, raisins, gumdrops, grapes, cereal (Cheerios or Fruit Loops type), gummy candies, fruit snacks etc...

Those are cute ideas!  Just be sure to check if there are any food allergies in the class.  If there are, you might want to avoid  the edible part of the activity and do something without food.  You probably already have thought of that.  I'm a mom of a food allergic kid so food crafts immediately trigger my radar for stuff like that.

I was browsing some of the other blogs and found the cutest edible marshmallow, pretzel snack. Looks like a pumpkin

I will post the link and let her take the credit for the idea, which I believe she may have gotten from another blogger.  :))

Such cute ideas! Makes me wish my boys were younger.

Here is a photo of my Turkey Cupcakes. You could have the cupcakes ready and frosted and then have the kids add the head and tail feathers.

They are from my Cupcake Chronicles Newsletter!
