I take my son trick or treating door to door with a group of his friends and parents. We many great neighborhoods here in Boulder, and have a blast every year (although last year it was cold enough to snow!). Halloween is my son's favorite holiday.

My son goes door to door, with me, in our neighborhood, to only houses I really know.

This year we are doing a big Halloween festival at church on Oct 30th.  The kids will get to play carnival games, eat, and then go outside for a trunk-or-treat.  

We have a church festival and then we also trick or treat door to door.  My kids love it and I love that they get to dress up more than once. Plus they get to dress up for school and my youngest has a really fun party at pre-school.  I love that we get good use of the costumes and enjoy the holiday for several days!!
