I like to make this really great tasting summer salad.  Just mix shredded lettuce, cubed avocado, corn, cilantro, cherry tomatoes, crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and lime juice in a salad bowl and toss to mix. It tastes really good on hot summer evenings.

Oooo this sounds wonderful!  I'm going to do this one later this week.  Thanks for sharing. smiley

Summertime Tea:

One can frozen lemonade concentrate

One can frozen limeade concentrate

6 Tea bags

Water

1 1/2 cups sugar

Boil 4 cups water, add tea bags and let steep.

Pour juice concentrates into gallon jug. Add tea and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add enough water to make one gallon. Serve over ice. Stir again before serving.

So, Kim, what's your favorite summer recipe? =)

Well Rachel I'll have to look it up but it's a Watermelon drink that is just soooo good!  I'll have it up tomorrow.  Thanks for sharing yours.  It sounds yummy!  If I have family size tea bags how many should I use?
