Cute style, Rachael!   I love the mixing of pieces!!!  in fact, Stella & Dot promotes a lot of that with their pieces... I don't own a ton of their stuff, but a I have a few friends who sell it.  :)  Nowadays, the style is all about being a little over-the top and mixing media, so keep it up!   Mix your chains with your pearls, and accent with a fun flower, while you're at it.  As long as you keep your outfit pretty clean in terms of patterns and lines, the sky is the limit!  :)

Thanks Valerie!  Isn't it fun?!  Stella and Dot has some awesome pieces (but at a much higher price point), and I utilized some of their ideas and InStyle's for this posting. :)

I love that the 'rules' for jewelry have been eroding over the past 10+ years.  We saw it first with the mixing of metals in wedding sets...now it's 'anything goes'.  I feel that women should be confident in themselves, and not feel that they need to justify putting certain things together. :)

I hate to admit it, but do you know where I have found some of the best pieces in my collection???    You'd never guess... JC Penney!!!   It's so crazy - they have a TON of stuff and it's always on sale from their already-cheap price.  It's a total goldmine.  And to be truthful, I don't see a huge difference between this stuff and my stuff from Banana Republic and Nordstrom.  Check it out!  But shhhhhh.... ;)
