Have you all heard about Skins? It needs to be stopped. We moms need to come together as one unified voice and shout HECK NO to this show. It is repulsive. Here is the whole story and how you can help put a stop to it. MTV Must Be Stopped

I was so disgusted when I saw this on the news. I have a block option on my tv and have already set it. It's not the kind of show my 15 and 17 year old girls are usually interested in but I don't want them to even be exposed to it by accident. They would probably say they aen't going to do something because they saw it on tv but this way we at least send a message of how strongly we feel. It really is shameful that MTV would use this kind of exploitation of young people. I have news for them. The teens my kids hang with are watching the other shows that have MUSIC on them. MTV might not need the ratings from this sensationalism if they had never changed their programming to begin with.

Thanks, possibly well said but not well spelled! oops, "..aren't going to..."!

Here's my opinion as a teen who has never taken drugs, alcohol or had sex:

Interesting.

I think people are shocked at how accurate the depiction of teen sexuality is on this show. A lot of parents are too proud to admit that their kid just might not be perfect. Kids are curious. Sexual, alcohol, and drug education needs to start at home! I've been following the British version of this show for a while now because it intrigues me how dead-on they are sometimes.
