Do you buy secondhand?

Started by Diane , author of Turning the Clock Back 2/29/2012 9:20:05 AM

Buying secondhand is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint.  Sites like Auctionopia make it easy to reduce landfill waste AND save money!

What was the last thing you bought second hand?  I just got my kid's clothes at the consignment sale a few weeks ago.  Found a lot of cute outfits!

Sometimes I have fun going to garage sales. You never know what you will find. I bought an old treadmill for my dog. I put him on it every day and it works great!!!

I sometimes do.  You can find some good things that are like new.  It beats paying full price!  :)

I LOVE going to Goodwill and garage sales and have found some really great items for really affordable prices.  Not only does buying this way save the environment, it saves money.

I agree!  Who in the world can afford to pay full price for kids clothes?

I frequently buy secondhand. My boy's clothes, toys, books, are usually all purchased second hand.

It not only saves money, but it is good for the environment.
