Hello,
  I have read over the years now horribly treated animals are in making wool, leather, and down coats and because of this I do NOT want to buy anything with these materials in them.  My problem is that I live in Illinois where the climate can get pretty cold.  I currently have a cheap, polyester filled coat from Walmart as my winter coat and it's not very warm :/  I have searched online to see if there are any ethically made down coats or alternatives that are just as warm but can't find anything!  I need help so I don't freeze the rest of this winter.  Thank you!
