Help, can't clean my reader

Can anyone tell me how to clean up my blogger reader?  I follow like 500 blogs but a lot of them don't post anymore.

I'd like to Unfollow them, however it seems to take a ton of steps and far to much time.

Is there a easier way?

I wish I knew how to help. I'm a wannabe techno geek.

I follow all my blogs in the Blogger Dashboard and the blogs I really like to keep tabs on are on my blogroll.

Maybe you could just follow the blogs on your blogroll for awhile and forget about the google reader?

I'm just trying to help!

if you're following them in google reader (and if you're not, it'll automatically sync up with your blogger follows) you can use the trends > inactive view.
