I go back and forth on the question of what I'm really aiming for with my blog. It is definitely comfort and practice for me, writing-wise, and it's become a memory box and resource for recipes, too. Recently, my blog was hacked because of a vulnerability in Word Press. My husband was able to save all the written content, thankfully, so aside from being a major pain to put back together, re-uploading images, widgets, plugins, etc, it worked out fine. It was actually a healthy experience--having to stitch it all back together again made me realize how productive I've been with it in a relatively short time. It hasn't felt like work at all, even though I take it seriously. So obviously it's worth continuing, if just for myself alone. : )
