Renee and everyone else #commenthour is AWESOME! It is a twitter chat that happens on Wednesday nights from 9pm-10pm EST where 25 blogs/blog posts get featured and everyone in the chat goes to the blog or specific post and comments!
I have been to three #commenthour chats and I was featured twice!! It brings in loads of traffic for a particular post and, like this, is a great place to chat it up with other bloggers, get retweeted all over the twitterverse and grow your audience.
It is just ANOTHER reason why WEDNESDAYS ROCK!!!
You basically submit your blog post on the website: http://commenthour.com/ Then you join in on the chat to see if you've been featured. The first time I tried I had no expectation of being selected, but I found a whole slew of cool new blogs and bloggers. Then -POW!- I was featured as blog #23 of the night.
Last night I was a little late to the chat and couldn't believe it. My twitter stream was on fire. I had been featured as blog #4!
In short, commenthour is a really great way to get your blog seen by fellow bloggers and their twitter followers if you are featured. If you are not featured, then commenthour is a really great place to get yourself seen via comments and to read 25 (possibly new to you) blogs!
I highly recommend it to everyone, but brace yourself for the insanity of the twitterchat (twitter chats blow my mind!).
