I am working on a post about what to do with all your kids artwork...any suggestions or posts you have written would be helpful!

{please don't leave a link if you aren't OK with me promoting it}

We have a wall of art.  I should take a picture of it and do a post about it one of these days.  Basically, it is a clothesline across the room with pins of art projects.  It is extremely layered and cluttered and the kids just LOVE pinning recent projects to our "wall".

I still have my kids artwork hanging on my walls... right now I'm using it for my puppet set!:)  Other stuff, we always took photos and saved those on the computer or in sketch books.  My kids are VERY prolific artists, though, so we saved our favorites and sent the rest to others.

If you look at pretty much any of my posts, you'll see their artwork hanging on our VERY colorful walls!

We keep them on the fridge until it gets to crowded and then some of them disappear.

I like the idea I have seen about taking pictures of your kids artwork and then assembling that into a wall grouping.  I haven't done it yet but I'd like to.  The link I saw to this is on this web site.

We let them choose works they're most proud of, and then (inexpensively) mat and frame them to hang or give as gifts. All the grand and godparents have original art pieces.

Since my Kidlet is only 2... well, his artwork ends to stay on the fridge until I get tired of it and it goes missing. :-) Whoops.

I have some of my daughters very first art framed in some cheap but cute frames from IKEA in the playroom hallway. They tickle me each time I see them:)

I use my tots scribbles into other things - this post isn't about art, but literacy.  I used his scribbles to make an ornament for our Valentine Day tree.  Much of their early artwork has been used as stationary to write letters for the grandparents. http://theeducatorsspinonit.blogspot.com/2012/02/tot-school-literacy-development.html

I bought a  recipe book stand and when my kids came home with artwork, I'd display it on the stand until the next piece came home. It was a nice little way of 'featuring"  on the kitchen counter or dining room hutch in a special way and I could rotate the fancy new artwork in really easily.
