"Mommy Taxi" or "Mommy Hermit?"

  What are you?
A "Mommy Taxi" or "Mommy Hermit?"

Me - i'm more of a Mommy Hermit....Though i have a lot to learn in this thing called parenting... i believe there is a balance between keeping our kids and ourselves home every minute of their lives and driving them all over creation involved with every extra curricular activity under the sun.    i personally do not condone either one in extreme.  OK so maybe you are a Mom who spends your days driving your kids from one activity to another, if so, please bear with me...i am not one of those Moms.  It is my personal conviction that i want to be home as much as possible during the toddler/preschool years.(now)

We are a mixture of both.

Good question.  My best friend takes her 3 kids somewhere every day.  That would drive me (and my kids) crazy!  There are probably times we could go out more, but they really like to just explore in our backyard...

I do need to break my mostly hermit state, though, and get them out a little more often probably...

I have to get the kids out of the house at least once a day or we all go crazy!

We run two days a week, and try to stay home the rest.

Can I be both?  I would rather be a taxi-service!  I love going about and doing!  But!!!  Life is way too complicated!  Seriously, it takes me 40 minuets to get my four kids in the car.  A milk-run is a nearly 2 hour commitment - so we are hermits :)
