Hi Rebekah!

Thanks for stopping by my community.  I'm having lots of fun with this.

I highly recommend Danny Silk's "Loving Your Kids on Purpose."  You can actually do this as a study group.  I didn't read the book, but I heard it's great.  I actually have the DVD and watched it.  I started a "My Parenting" page on my blog.  I write about this and then I have links to 2 posts that talk about specific parts of the DVD.  This has been life changing for our family!

I hope you're having fun feeding the ducks!

Thanks for that Christine,

I took a look, it seems highly recommended.
If you are interested, Blogs do an 'Amazon Asscociates' for your blog posts and you can earn a bit of money for recommending people book via them on your blog.

It comes up on the side of creating a new post, so you type it in and it will directly link it to your post.

I found this useful instead of creating links to take people over to my recommendations.

Thanks for stopping by!

"Shepherding a Child's Heart" by Ted Tripp and "Don't Make Me Count To Three" by Ginger Plowman are both excellent books!

Thanks Lisa,

I actually have those two books in my wish list over at Amazon, they looked really good, i just wanted to do some research on them both and get recommendations, so maybe they are worth a purchase!

Thanks Rebekah.  I actually signed up for that last week.  I haven't done anything with it yet.  But maybe I'll get going on that.  I've recommended his stuff a ton!  :)  I never realized that.

Hi Rebekah,

I'm another Rebecca (but I go by Becky)!  I just found your blog, and boy oh boy...I will be stopping by often!  You have such beautiful words and an awesome writing style!  I love how you intertwine verses and prayers with your heart in your posts.

Anyway, my husband and I just started reading "Don't Make Me Count to Three!" as Lisa P. recommended.  We are only about 1/3 of the way through it, but I really like it so far.  I just blogged a bit about it today actually.  If you'd like to read my thoughts so far you can visit here, but you don't have to. :)
