Yes!  I am completely sold on Craigslist.  While it has its limitations, it also has the power to create what a lot of other sites don't.  I am a realtor, an artist, and a rental property owner, and I have used Craigslist successfully to support all three.  As a realtor, when I list a house, conduct a class or networking session, or hold an open house, I always advertise on Craigslist before anything else.  As an artist, I do a lot of local art shows, and I use Craiglist to promote them and increase attendance.  As a landlord, I use Craigslist ONLY to find renters.  I never use print advertising, and I have found that my biggest response rate comes from Craigslist.  Not to mention buying and selling things on there.  Good luck, and I hope this helps!
