After attending the Savvy Blogging Summit, I realized that I had many things to update on my blog. I decided to spit the blog into 6 subjects. You can access each from the navigation bar on the top of each page.
Main blog - houses all post up to this past week, will continue to house posts related to my personal life in general, blog related news, general issues, etc.
Cloth Diapers - Cloth Diaper Me Monday (link up your blog each Monday), new products in the Suburban Tree Hugger online cloth diaper store, personal cloth diaper tips/stories, helpful resources, online deals (diapers.com, amazon), etc.
Cooking from Scratch - Here I will discuss meal planning, my own style of OAMC (which is actually NOT once a month cooking), resources for finding recipes, ingredients, equipment, online deals, and anything else I can think of that makes our family eat healthier food.
Coupons and Deals - I created this section so I can tell you if Ziplock bags are on sale! Some items are not green! They are not reusable (well some do reuse Ziplock bags but you get the picture). I need toilet paper. I need toiletries. These items may not be green (because the $3 "green" toothbrushes don't work for us) but they are necessary for our family. I will also show you some of the deals we get each week.
Homeschool - I am so excited about this section. I am starting homeschool over this fall with my 2 year old. Of course this year will be all about singing about Jesus, learning colors as we play, helping her turn her alphabet song into a song with meaning, etc. It will be fun. I will chronicle our plans, our recipes, our "curriculum", and our learning toys in this section.
My older kids, 12 and 10, are now in a hybrid, independent studies program for homeschoolers. They attend school 2 days a week. The other 3 they are home working on their assigned homework. This program is so intense I really do not have to supplement. I may have some post related to their homeschool but mostly I will focus on the toddler.
Sustainability - All the R's will be found here. I foresee the most personal growth in this area of the blog.
This week I plan to have my RSS updated so you can subscribe to all 6 feeds in 1, or pick and choose which feeds you would like to receive.
