Netflix Queue

Started by Lisa , author of Roerdink Ramblings 9/1/2010 11:04:01 PM

So I am building up my queue and it just seems that I keep stumbling across more and more that I didn't know were there.

Sooo, what should I add to my queue? (save me from having to browse through endless movies and shows!)

OK, documentary that blew my mind: Dear Zachary. I was seriously just dumb struck. Warning though: it is very sad.

Timer was really cute.

Harpers Island was a fun series.

Phoebe in Wonderland was great.

I liked The Good Guy.

Remember Me was also really good - don't be fooled by the fact that it's got R Patz in it - it was great!

I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell - if you can handle crude! Because it is crude for sure, but so so funny! In a mean, and awful way! ;)

Well, Veronica Mars obviously!

Um, Food Inc if you haven't seen it.

Are you looking for streaming stuff? Or for DVD rentals or both?

Looking for both. This is so new to me and quite overwhelming.

What do you like?  I love movies of most genres and I love netfilix, so you might want to say how many you're looking for as well.

(Adding your suggestions to my queue right now SIF, thanks.)

I know Audra, I was too! I DID NOT see that coming!

You may want to start with movies that came out recently that you didn't get to see. That's what I did. I just added 10 or 15 movies and called it a day. Too many choices upset me. lol.

Thanks, Shannon! I am the same way. I could have stayed on Netfllix all night looking for movies because it's like a ginormous sea of movies!

Last night we watched Brothers.  It was about an US Marine (Tobey Maguire) who deployed to Afghanistan.  His wife was played by Natalie Portman and his brother was Jake Gyllenhaal.  Pretty good movie.

Also on our list have been/are:  Hot Tub Time Machine, Modern Family series, Shutter Island, The Runaways, Kick Ass, Invictus (excellent), Its Complicated (omg - hilarious!).
