Do you know what your "spiritual gifts" are?

According to a test that I took in high school mine are teaching & exhortation.

If you don't know yours, what would you guess would be yours?

Hmm, I am not sure what exactly a spiritual gift is...what are examples?

Sam, some would be hospitality, wisdom, mercy.
I searched google for a quiz and one would be: Christianet.com/spiritualgiftstest.htm

Key Bible Passages for spiritual gifts are I Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4.

One way to think about spiritual gifts is as ways the Holy Spirit is expressed through Christians...in order to uplift and support other Christians and the church.

Laura, Curious what you thought about taking this test in high school? I took one then too, and in studying the spiritual gifts more recently in church I have been thinking about how that initial "quiz/study" was misleading in my understanding of them. I felt like the test was just given, and TA DA here's your gift! I didn't feel like there was a lot of understanding (on my part) about them being used in support of Christians and the church, rather than for whatever I pleased. (Hope that makes sense).

Here are my results!

Following are the top three results of your Spiritual Gifts Test:

ScoreSpiritual GiftsScripture Reference

100%MercyLuke 10:30-37
100%HospitalityActs 16:14-15
100%FaithHebrews 11:1

These gifts exceed the normal ability level of an individual that may come through life experience or knowledge. In fact many refer to these gifts as a "supernatural ability" vs. "natural ability" that a person may posses.

Everyone has God-given talents, but He also bestows supernatural abilities to those believers who will give themselves over to His Spirit. These individuals are used for ministry in His Kingdom to help members of the body of Christ. They are also used to extend the church’s witness and ministry into the world.

LOL you guys!  I was a straight A student...Cum Laude baby!!!!  Hahaha!

Ashley- We did a whole series on spiritual gifts and what they meant and their purpose.  It was interesting to see how we could guess what our gifts are.  I think that if you know what the gifts are, you can pick yours out easily because you have interest in it.  Like for me, I love teaching and guiding, so it wasn't a surprise that one of my gifts is teaching.  If you love to lead, it is probably because you succeed in doing so, so it is probably your spiritual gift.  I can say though that after taking the test, I didn't try to do more.  It was just like "okay, I guess this is a gift from God" but I didn't really act more upon it than I already was.

...not sure if I really answered your question...
