So I got back from lunch and found that someone from the USDA Office of Operations stumbled upon my blog while doing a Google search for Chirimoya - a Bolivian fruit.

Should I be worried that the U.S. government is reading my site?! :)

At the moment, I'm just a legal resident here in Bolivia. Dual citizenship will come with marriage ;)

Do you see yourself staying in Bolivia for good Laura, or do you think you'll come back to the U.S.?

Which do you prefer?

Not weird at all, SIF, no worries!

YES, I do want to stay in Bolivia for good! I can see myself going back to the States for a year or something like that... like maybe when I have kids and want them to experience the U.S. for more than just a visit. Of if my boyfriend and I decide to go to grad school in the States. But for the most part, Bolivia is home now :)

Laura: USDA...hmm they are probably searching for illegal Chirimoya importers! If you aren't mailing the fruit to the US, I am sure you are aok.

Oh man Laura, you shouldn't have admitted that (the cheese bit!) on an open forum! They probably won't let you come back now!

I would move to Australia for good if I could figure out how! I love the U.S., but I really loved Australia! Their Visa system is pretty strict though, and I'm pretty sure I could never qualify...
