Lostapalooza?

Started by S.I.F. , author of Single Infertile Female: Now What? 3/10/2010 11:04:52 AM
I've gotten two different e-mails now that a new discussion titled Lostapalooza has been started here, but I'm still not seeing it... Am I missing something? Am I blind? I keep looking for it, but I don't see it! :)

WHAT?  I don't see it!! Robin, did you start a discussion about it?

I know my post is up!!!

Did you watch it?  Are you getting interested by reading our discussions?  ;)

I am! I watched every season until last season, and I just got so confused I stopped, but I did love the first few seasons!

But yeah, I got the e-mails and usually when I get the new discussion e-mails I can come here and see the discussions right away, but not that one! I got an e-mail last night, and then another one just now, but... no discussion!

I am so confused, and I wanted to see all your crazy theories!

Well, I haven't seen any lost posts, but I did watch it last night!

I kinda think last night's episode was a filler... not much revealed, kinda low key. We did finally see whitmore, though, and I totally called that!

Thank goodness I'm not going crazy! See if you can start another thread Robin - anything... do a tester!

And this can be the lostapalooza thread - Theorize away ladies!

Do you guys know who Mario Van Peebles is?  Well, he directed last nights episode (gues director) which is probably why it wasn't so good...I mean, I think they let guests direct the less important episodes.

I did like the Ben story line...next week is Saywer, then Richard (I know, like we need an entire episode on Richard) then Sun/Jin and then unknown and then Hurley...

SO, that is the lineup for the next few weeks...

It showed up, SIF! I don't know why my Lost posts weren't. Weird!

I actually really liked last night's episode and thought it was good and not a filler. I think these final choices and inner struggles of the characters are awesome and important. I think we're seeing big changes in some characters and I love it.

Sam- I totally want a whole epi of Richard! I'm dying for some flashbacks of him. Ooooh, wonder if he's in the flash sideways! I can't wait for the Sawyer episode!

Robin- Good point. I totally thought Ben was going to sell our Alexandra in the flash sideways too.... just goes to show you people can change.

I think I was still high off the excitement from last week and was looking for the same high octane drama!

Here's a thought, and I don't know if this has been discussed, but do yall think that Ben was taken to that same pool as a child, and so also has "darkness" in him?

jessica, I think Ben was taken in the pool and passed the test...otherwise, he would have been treated like Sayid...so, ultimately, I think Ben was destined to be good.

I think that is the basis of the flash sideways...to show that even if you remove certain elements of influence, you are still destined to end up either good, or bad.

Isn't it interesting that we've been led to believe the whole time that Ben is bad? I think the whole perspective of what's really good and what's really bad will continue to be a big thing. I saw something on Lostpedia that I thought was interesting about Jacob being the bad one. When the "bodyguards" came in the temple after Jacob died, Esau told them "You're free". Jacob could be the biggest con man of them all.

I'm hoping that since next week is Sawyer's show, they'll show more that's going on over with the Locke camp!
