Hunger Games Party

Started by Keeslermom , author of Keesler Chaos 2/5/2012 2:27:36 PM

All right ladies, I need your creativity!

I'm hosting a hunger games party for a bunch of teens/pre teens.  I've got the menu worked out, and we'll go watch the movie, but I'd like to do a few "party games" too.  I was thinking a scavenger hunt for things that the hunger games participants would need like flashlight, granola bars, water, etc.

Do you have any other ideas?

Weather will be an issue, so I can't count on being able to do anything outside.

Such a fun idea Keeslermom!! I don't know how into it/messy you want to get - but what about training stations? You could have a camouflage station, and a station to learn about edible foliage, and a combat station (fake/plastic weapons of course - or maybe even water balloons!) Stuff like that though. To mimic the training stations the tributes had to go through before getting ranked.

I love that idea!

I found some good trivia questions too.

If you have computer access, there are two Hunger Games games on scholastic.com. The games simulate being in the arena. The choices the players make determine if they live or die. Not a particularly creative party game, but kids love them!
