I'm in the Austin area, but lived in Waco for four years (for college).  I've lived in Lubbock and San Angelo also.  I love being a Texan, but right now, living in the frozen north seems like it wouldn't be so bad!!

Native Floridian, but living in NW GA mountains for the past 14 years.

MINDY!  If you are with the Mayborn, I could have walked right by you during my son's field trip there in April...

Yes, I went to Baylor.  But, I graduated a few years before you guys got there.  The campus has changed so much since I graduated.  In fact, the apartments I lived in are now a parking garage!!

I did, however, do some of my teaching practicums at the Ollie May Moen Discovery Center (which became the Mayborn).  I would love to go back and visit the museum and see what remains the same and what is shiny and new.  (The discovery center was a little, umm, rustic shall we say! lol!)  What does your husband do?

I grew up in Lubbock!  My dad worked for Tech for years and years and years!  When were you there? (I have a feeling I'm a few years older than you, so I doubt our paths crossed. :D  )
