Your Studio - A Question

Started by Hannah , author of Hannah Braboy — Family, Photography, LIfe 5/2/2010 1:57:44 PM
I am looking at creating a studio space in my family's home for my sisters, mama, and I. If you had a studio to let your creativity fly in, how would you decorate and organize it?  Do you have any links or bits of info to share? I'd love it!

That is a pretty hard question. In my home, my studio would have props that speak family, love, kindred spirits--things that say "this is me and my family"

Like--a wicker sofa like seat (not a single chair, but one that will hold two people)

Flowers

bookshelves

That sort of thing

My studio is very clean cut with a simple white desk, white shelves and then pops of orange with boxes and files. I love it, everything has a place so it allows me a bit of ordered chaos when I am creating!

We don't have room for a studio, but I did get a Lightbox Tent Kit for creating stock photos for share and sale on pixosphere.com  A friend of mine (and one of our investors) set up a studio in his office that he said I could use any time I want. :)  Dawn has a studio in her home. http://myhomesweethomeonline.net/2010/07/10/welcome-to-my-studio/
