Okay, I'm here. So how many communities like Facebook, Twitter, blog frog, etc, are you a member of?

Wow, how many more time consuming things can I possibly get involved in? I love my blog, but it sure seems all these other "things" are keeping me from keeping up with my blog. It took a while for my friends to convince me to join MySpace, but of course that's as out-of-fashion as bell bottoms now. Once I opened a MySpace, though, I realized it really is a convenient way to keep up with friends and especially the precious baby pictures, and watch kids grow and all. So I then got a Facebook, and it sure can be a time-waster with all the games and such, but I love the way you can just scroll through and see what eveyone is doing at a glance. Now, I've been trying to get the time to join Twitter, but this blogfrog has taken the place. Maybe later I'll tweet, but for now I'll just try to keep up with this, all while trying to post stuff on my blog besides just reviews! I'm so glad to have my friends from the TOS Crew!! Y"ALL ROCK!! I can't even imagine when we won't be on the crew anymore. It was hard last year thinking about it, but is even more so now that I have gotten to know another crew!!

All of the above, Chris. I began on MySpace like you, but then switched to Facebook. I still do Facebook quite a bit. I try to post something every day, and my blog posts get put on Facebook as well. I began Tweeting and FrogBlogging both about the same time - a week or so ago. I try to post one or two tweets a day, and start a discussion and/or answer someone elses discussion question every day on BlogFrog. I'm hoping that this helps my blog activity. It's not that I want folks just to read my blog (although that would be nice) but I also feel that I owe it to TOS since I am on the crew. They and the vendors have been so good to us that I want them to benefit from my blog. I, like you, can't imagine not being on the Crew. I kind of hope I'm selected again next year. Who knows?

Tim, I'll try to find you on facebook. I enjoy connecting with friends there too! I totally agree I'd like more traffic for TOS. What an absolutely life changing experience this has been in so many ways!

I'm involved in so many different social networking sites sometimes I have trouble keeping track of all of them.  Lets see here, there is BlogFrog, BlogCatalog, Mom Bloggers Club, Twitter Moms, Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Stumble Upon, I know I am active in more but my mind is drawing a blank right now.

Cascia ~ I can't imagine keeping up with all those sites!  I don't even know a thing about many of the ones you listed.

Chris ~ I'm on Facebook as well.  I joined when prodded by a homeschool friend.  She'd just moved from Ohio to MA when we moved from Ohio to MD.  Funny thing is she's so involved in volunteer work that she's rarely on Facebook.  But, I've enjoyed connecting with some family members as well as old schoolmates.

Tim ~ I can't say if joining BlogFrog is having a real effect on traffic to my blog.  But, it's only been a week since joining....  Like you, I'd really like to see decent traffic because of doing the TOS Crew reviews.

I'm on Facebook, but that was mainly because an old friend wanted me to join. I've happily reconnected with a few friends that way, but I don't really do much with that.  It is not tied to my blog for privacy reasons...

I'm not on MySpace or Twitter. There is only so much time in the day, and I'm on the computer too much as it is. lol!  That's not to say that I'd not do another community, but not at this time.

I'm part of a few forums, but I rarely visit them these days...  I'm sure there are other places that I'm not thinking of at this time. ;)

I blog, and I joined here.  I've had moments of considering joining Facebook, but I've never found a strong enough reason.  Though keeping track of some family members and what they are up to might be kind of nice.

I started with Facebook and connected with some old friends, which was great (use that for friends and family). Then, I signed up to twitter to keep up to date with news and meet new friends.  I was introduced to many blogs by SAHMS and WAHMS.  Some of them are really beautiful and great.    I can't keep up with it all, but I do enjoy looking at it.

Now, since I've published a book, I am using all of the tools I can find.  I have a personal blog, an author blog, etc.   I'm on Ning and blogfrog, My space, etc.  Trying Google Wave, but how the heck do you use that? Now I'm completely cross-eyed.  There is not enough time in the day to keep everything organized.  I wish that there was one site that pulled everything together.  I could post something once, and it will send it to all the others.  Still looking.

I guess that I will evetually figure it out, if I last that long.

I have twitter, but only post maybe once a day. Takes a second and I am out of there!

Facebook, I only joined recently. Takes just a couple of minutes a day.

Blogfrog is hard to get used to. But I am so happy to have these communities with all the TOS Crew members. I have also been sad thinking about what will happen when the review year ends and wondering if we'd have a way to stay connected!

Another thing about Blogfrog, I am going to have to be real selective about which communities I join. I think I joined a couple of random ones and they are just full of drama!!  I'll figure this out eventually...

I join about every one that comes along, just to see what I think. There's no way I keep up with everything I join, though. I am fairly active on FB. I have it set for my blog posts to show up on FB and Twitter automatically. I try to check into Twitter on a regular basis, but I need to be more active there, I think. I just joined BlogFrog about a week ago. I like it, too, because it seems to serve a different function than FB or Twitter.
