This Summer is more than half way over. Our family has been having a lot of fun both at home, and out and about enjoying vacation days.

I want to know what the best thing you've done this summer is.

Your favorite activity, best memory, most fun, best idea, most productive... you decide...

I just want to know what you've done over the last seven weeks, that you're SOOOOOO glad you did!

I met the man of my dreams - an American - 6 years ago in Spain, with myself being German. Now after living with him in Spain, a bit in Germany I finally accepted his proposal a few days ago and will move to the USA in November.

I am so glad I did accept, I am truly content and happy, yet a bit nervous crossing the pond "forever"

Isn't it funny how excited and nervous we can be at the same time. Gotta love mixed emotions. You have such a grand adventure ahead of you! And best of all you get to do it with the man of your dreams.

Thanks, that is so very sweet of you. Haha, still having the final immigration interview ahead of me, lets see whether they are happy to have me too

I will need to learn so many new things from healthy living, environmental issue, to health insurance etc etc, as well as social etiquette in teh USA as it seems to be so very different to what I am used to. Hope my straightforwardness is not going to annoy everyone...

Congrats Paula on your engagement!

This summer I was present at the homebirth of a precious baby girl! First birth I've seen (no kids for me yet) and it was amazing/miraculous/touching!

Whoa Jamie! That would be a highlight!

Wow! An engagement, and witnessing the birth of a little human... and I thought my summer gardening was monumental.

Well... for me, it actually kind of is... considering I've only ever killed anything I've tried to grow. But still... not really comparable to new life, and new love.

Congrats you two. This summer was awesome!
