Woohoo, now there's 2 of us! Hopefully it won't be long before all the TTC girls show up here!

What's your EDD again Katie? Mine's 9/23.

Yeah it's quiet here, they all need to join us!

My EDD is 8/25.  We had our first u/s yesterday, and the baby is measuring right on track at 8 weeks and the heartbeat was 150!  How awesome it is to hear that!!

I have had horrible, horrible, 24/7 nausea this time around.  Lots of days it is so unbearable, I can hardly move from the couch.  I have only thrown up about 3 times, but the nausea is kicking my butt!  I can't wait until that golden 2nd trimester!

How are you feeling?  9/23 is a good due date, my sister's bday is 9/24, so she wouldn't have minded if we conceived this month.  Instead, the EDD is closer to my mom's bday, which is 8/23.  My bday is 8/12, so it will be fun to have all three August bdays.  Of course, that far into August, the baby might end up being a September baby!

Have you been to the dr yet?

Hey Katie!

Is the nausea getting any better? I hope you don't have hyperemesis. I'm one of the super lucky ones, I didn't have any nausea/vomiting with either pregnancy.

I started spotting pink/red a couple weeks ago, went to the Dr the next day, and I got to see the baby, everything looked fine, except I have a subchorionic hemmohrage. At my first "real" OB appointment this week she checked on it again, and it looked to be about the same size. I'm on complete pelvic rest, my poor hubby's really understanding. Poor guy! :-) I started spotting again last night, so he wants me to call the Dr on Monday, but I don't think I will. There's really nothing they can do. I tried to stay on the couch as much as possible today, and to drink drink drink. I'm not supposed to carry my toddler, so this is really no fun. But hopefully all be well, the stupid SCH will be reabsorbed, and I'll have a happy healthy baby in 7 months!

I can't wait to see more ladies join this group!

Hey Cecile!

I am 14 weeks tomorrow (yay second trimester!!), and for the most part my nausea has subsided.  I have been really good the last few days, and then last night was nauseous again.  The nausea at about ten weeks turned into mostly night nausea, which I could handle.  It was being on the couch all day that was miserable!  I am hoping I am in the last week of two of it, and then move on to better things, like lots of fun movements!  At 12 weeks I started feeling small flops and flutters, which has been really exciting, but I am looking forward to the big kicks!  I started feeling kicks with DS at 15 weeks, so I'm hoping it's just around the corner!

I am so sorry to hear about your SCH!!  I will be praying for you.  I am so glad that you were able to figure out what it was, and you dr has you on the right path to it being corrected.  What does complete pelvic rest consist of, do you have to stay in bed similar to bed rest?  I can imagine how very difficult that would be with a toddler.  How far along are you now?  You are in my prayers that the SCH will be reabsorbed, and quickly!

Not sure if you guys still check this, but I'm joining you now!
Just got a positive test yesterday and today, and am still letting it sink in. My EDD is 12/13/10, so I'm just in the very beginning. Already feeling little symptoms though!

How are you both doing?

Yay Kelly!!!  Congrats!!!!  I still check over here, and have been trying to keep up with you girls on the trying to conceive thread when I can!  I'm so happy you can join over here this month!  Will you continue testing now that you go your positive?  I know it took me several days of positive tests until it seemed real to me!  So it sounds like you will have a Christmas baby, that is so exciting!  Are you having any symptoms yet?

I am doing pretty well!  Finally at 14 weeks my all day sickness went away and I have been feeling great since then!  We found out at 17 weeks that we are having a little GIRL!  So we will have a boy and a girl and we are sooo excited!  Shopping for pink is a whole new experience and so much fun!  I'm 19 weeks as of Wednesday, and we have another Ultrasound coming up on the 13th, I can't wait!  It was originally scheduled for the 8th, but got pushed back, I am still bummed we have to wait an extra 5 days to see her again!  I'm loving feeling her move and kick, although she is not a wild baby in there like my son was!  That might be a good thing, because his wildness never went away :)  so maybe she will be my "calm" baby!

Cecile, are you there?  How are you doing?

Thank you! And congratulations on your little girl! That's so exciting, and it's great that she will have a big brother...every girl needs one of those :)

I'm not testing anymore for now...I feel pretty confident just because I started having symptoms before I got the positive test, and my basal body temp. has stayed up, although I think I am ready to stop checking it every day and maybe just periodically check it to see if it's still up. I'm feeling pretty good--sore boobs and a little bit of nausea just when I first wake up, and I am SO hot at night when trying to sleep for some reason, but that's about it. I start my job on the 12th, so I really hope the morning sickness doesn't get bad and make my job really tough when I'm getting started, but I'll deal with it if it happens. I am just antsy for my insurance to kick in so I can make a doctor's appointment and make sure it's really in there!

I reeaally hope I have the  baby on time or a little early...I don't think having a baby right at Christmas would be fun at all!

Yay Kelly!!! I'm so happy for you! And yes, welcome to unregulated body temperature! Do you need an OB recommendation? I can't remember if you told us where your new job is.

Katie - it seems I have really good pregnancies. The only thing is that my nipples are super sensitive now, so we're weaning (yes, DD is 2.5...). The OB wanted me to wean before 20 weeks anyway, because I had PTL last time, so they want the uterus to not be overstimulated I guess. I've been feeling the baby move for about 3 weeks now (I'm 15 weeks now), it's fun! Oh, and the SCH should be all gone, it was soooo small at the NT scan, so I feel a lot better now. We find out what it is on the 22nd, I'm hoping for another girl, DH has no preference, and DD is telling us the baby is a girl. I did a urine gender test the other day for fun, and it said boy.

Oh, and pelvic rest means no heavy lifting (=poor toddler), "take it easy", and no sex/orgasm (=poor hubby). Needless to say, they're both happy that the restrictions are lifted!

Glad to hear things are going well now for you Cecile...will be excited to find out the gender!

I'm definitely open to OB recommendations--I'm in Raleigh now. I did some online research and found one I like the sound of, but I have to find out which hospital he delivers at, since I will be working at Rex, I would be best covered on my insurance if I deliver there.

That's so exciting that you have been feeling movement so early! I am so impatient to see a heartbeat and feel kicks and just to know there is a little person in there! I'm also dying to tell the world...but we are trying to wait until at least Mother's Day. DH wants to wait longer, but I think that's the perfect time to tell them. I'm not quite ready for the naysayers yet, but oh well...they'll happen anyway I'm sure.
