Getting Healthy & Fit - TOGETHER

Started by Aimee , author of The Road to Living Healthy... 10/27/2010 11:04:29 PM

Hello everyone! I have used blogfrog in the past to start discussions & I LOVE it! I figured this would be a great place for all of us to go for support, encouragement, accountability, tips, recipes, to celebrate successes, & to pick us back up after a slip.

Let's start with the basics. Who are you, what are you looking for out of this group, goals, etc. Anything that you feel comfortable sharing.

I am so excited about this & I hope that we build an amazing group. The times that I have succeeded the most, is when I have a partner & someone to hold me accountable. I want to do that for you & I NEED you to do it for me! :)

I'm in. :) I've been thinking about how I need to be more active lately to keep losing weight (I've lost some just being a little more active, but I want to see REAL results).

Oh hi!  Laziness paid off.  Just looked at screen until I noticed the facebook login. :D

My name is Lori, I am 31 years old, mother of 2.  I work full time as a restaurant supervisor and also do web design.  Currently I'm 5'2" and 128 lbs.  My goal is to eat healthier, stop drinking carbonated drinks all together, and tone up.  I'm flabby especially in the tummy region.

I am 37 years old, mother of Allyson - 12, Brandon - 10, & Kayleigh who is in Heaven. I am an office manager for a local company & a real estate agent. I unfortunately am sedentary all day.

I am looking to lose no less than 10 pounds by Memorial Day but my true goal is 15. I need to tone up, lose fat, & build muscle.

I am eating clean & working out 4 days a week.

I am Kerri, 33 (soon to be 34), and a mom to two wonderful sons.  I am recently divorced and the end of my marriage and the process of divorce was extremely stressful and I am just getting back on my feet again.  I've lost a significant amount of weight about 10 years ago and it all crept back on-and then some.  I work as a veterinary technician and it really is my calling.

Currently I am out using Jillian Michaels dvd's and counting my calories eating per day.  I've done a lot of swaps in my diet and am trying to eat as healthy as I can while remaining on an extremely strict budget.
