kate loves 'life is a highway' because it's in the movie, Cars!  :)

american pie reminds me a college.  i think it ended just about every date party and formal i attended!

I was just going to say something about "Life is a Highway" and Cars. ;-) But I do like the song.

There are SO many songs for me that I could list. Just about anything from the late 80's-90's applies. I am someone who can hear a song and instantly remember what was happening at that time in my life. I LOVE music and couldn't live without it.

One of my favorites is Run DMC/Aerosmith's "Walk This Way." ;-)

now all i can hear is, "WALK THIS WAAAY!!  TALK THIS WAAAY!"  :)

Nelly's "Hot in Here" is a song that my peanut and I groove to in the car...

Someone left the CD in my car once (a mixed one) and that was on it, and my peanut instantly started to groove...

So everytime I am in the car and she is in a bit of a foul mood, I say "You wanna dance?" And we both start shaking our money makers and usually teh mood has been bypassed!!!

I think that's great!  I won't laugh at all!  My 4 year old started calling "Soul Sister" by Train, "our song", so I got it as a ringtone, too.  :)
