I just wrapped up with my side of the adoption, the birth mommies side of the adoption..and am settling in. Here is the latest link if you have been following along :)

And I don't mean the cleanliness

I took the boys to one of Z's friend's houses today for a play date. We live in a pretty middle class town so this has never been an issue. Today when we drove into the neighborhood I was in awe, these houses were huge. When we walked into the house O.M.G. this was a house that was easily 4 x's the value of my house. Normally that does not matter to me in the least. I don't care that I used to drive a Kia or that I clip coupons or that I'm frugal...ok, cheap, but I'm a little intimidated to have these particular parent's over to my house even though they are very down to earth and we seemed to hit it off pretty well (and the fact that their carpets were stained helped me feel more at ease). My little just under 1600 square foot house that's over 30 years old (although I do have over an acre) doesn't bother me but it feels inadequate compared to their house. I know that's wrong. I have never before and don't now want a larger house, in fact, we have an offer in on a smaller house (although newer by about 18 years).

I don't know, maybe I was just caught off guard since through talking with the dad I knew he was on disability and she worked in the framing department for Hobby Lobby, I wasn't expecting to walk into such a huge house in such a nice neighborhood.

	Hi everybody!

My husband and I were thinking for a long time about moving to Arizona. With the current house prices, we are very tempted :)

We are looking at Maricopa and Florence, but not crossing off other cities. We hear about ghost towns and abandoned neighborhoods, no stores-close-by communities... How is it out there? Are people really leaving in masses? Any advice, opinion is appreciated.

	thanks,

	Hello everyone!

Just wanted to tell you that Leanne and I have recently improved the appearance of our project. Although we loved our other look, we found something that suited us much better and we are glad we went through with it. We know that a lot of you have downloaded the free ebook already, but take a look anyways so you recognize us next time (although the name may give it away, haha). Hope you guys like the new look.

When it comes to your kids and their health...if something is wrong, do you take your little ones to the dr. right away, or do you wait it out?

For me, it depends entirely upon what it is that's bothering them. But typically, I find I am on the side of "better safe than sorry."

Anyone know what would cause off-cycle spotting? Not pregnant, never had HPV. Anyone have any clues? It just started this last month. It's not constant, and not much, but it's there, and I am a little concerned.

I did make an appointment with my Dr., but it's not until the 13th.

	Anyone?

Hey, it’s Rita! I’m desperate and need your help. Spam isn’t something I enjoy; therefore, I hope you feel this is more personal than that.

After having three children, I need to shed about 75 pounds. Where I live gets into the triple digits - there are days where it’s just not an option to take our baby out in this heat. Right now, I’m one of 20 finalists to win a Smooth Fitness treadmill. This contest ends tonight (Sunday). It’s super easy to vote for me. It only takes these three easy clicks:

 Visit this blog post: http://www.mamavation.com/2010/07/top-20-smooth-fitness-nominees-go-vote.html

Locate & check the box next to my name, @lovelyritaann, on the voting poll

 Click Vote

(*Please Note: You can vote from any & every device that has internet access – computers, laptops, phones, iPods, iPads, Nintendo DSi’s, etc.*)

It’s absolutely that simple. I’m a little behind; however, with amazing friends like you behind me, I could have a chance at winning this awesome prize that would change my life! It would be appreciated if you voted for me & shared this information in any way you can. My apologies on the short notice. I’m also hosting a giveaway for a $50 gift card on my blog for my voters, if I am to win. My giveaway was pre-approved by the contest creator before I posted it. Feel free to enter yourself & share this information! You can find my giveaway by visiting my blog post here:http://lovelyritaann.com/2010/07/26/vote-for-me-win-a-50-gift-card/

...what do you do? It sorta feels like I have given up on blogging. I make half-hearted attempts lately at getting a post up, but it doesn't feel quite right. So, I have been absent a lot lately, but miss the banter and comaraderie I find there.

Hey lady! I saw your comment on my latest post about not knowing about my shark incident. You said that sharks make you nervous, well, you have no idea! My husband and first born were swimming with one the week of the fourth! It was wild! I've got to post some pictures, but shark week from the Discovery channel picked up on it after I blogged about it and sent us gifts!

I know it was a fluke, it did keep us out of the water for a couple of days though.

So, what did you think after last night's performance show? This was my fav routine of the night, hands down. There were times during Dominic's season that he got on my nerves, but I LOVE seeing him dance his own genre. He looked dang good during that routine and I think Lauren definitely took the judges critique from last week to heart. Loved it!

Addyson (who is 3) has always been pretty attached to me, but recently it has become CRAZY attached. Like screaming fit whenever I go somewhere, or anyone but me tries to hold her hand, etc.

Has anyone else gone through this? Is it a phase? I am just concerned that somehow I have hampered her independence by catering to this behavior in the past.

	Advice?

We watched Toy Story 3 on Father's Day and loved it! Toy Story has always been so huge at our house. We all love it. I did a whole post about it here. First, it is Thursday again, which means that I am featuring another blogger who could use some show of support. Please stop by her blog and say hi. You can find her here.

Second, I thought I would start a things I see number game. This is similar to the one we played a little bit ago that had to do with the alphabet. Let's see how high we can get the number. I'll start...

I am pretty sure my husband's biggest pet peeve with me is how I deal with papers, in that I don't. Half the time I don't even open mail. Then if I have papers I don't know what to do with, I just stick them in a drawer somewhere.

I don't know what my deal is...but I always have dreams about old boyfriends. In the dream, I am single...then something steamy might begin, and I suddenly realize I am married! Then I wake up. Crazy. I'm sure a psychologist would love me ;)

For me, it's p.j.s and little travel bags. The little bags for cosmetics, etc. Whenever it's bonus days at Clinique they hand one out. I love them.

Okay, my Adam is 11. He doesn't have a phone yet, but some little girls have my number and text him constantly. All night. 2am and what not. Do they not sleep? I don't mind him chatting with them. It's pretty innocent. Though, one of them made a comment that he didn't understand at all(thank goodness), And could tell by his reaction that he didn't now what she meant. But, it kind of icks me out! He's not ever that interested in girls(again, he's 11).

What is up with the really forward girls?(that sounds old, doesn't it?) They're forever asking him to "go out," and stuff. And it just seems like a lot of boy chasing for his age.

	Thoughts?

There's a great book called the Five Love Languages. It talks about how give and recieve love. There are five "languages."

I've copied a description from the website.

 Quality Time

In the vernacular of Quality Time, nothing says, “I love you,” like full, undivided attention. Being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there—with the TV off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby—makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. Distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful.

 Receiving Gifts

Don’t mistake this love language for materialism; the receiver of gifts thrives on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. If you speak this language, the perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to you. A missed birthday, anniversary, or a hasty, thoughtless gift would be disastrous—so would the absence of everyday gestures.

 Acts of Service

Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most want to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter.

 Physical Touch

This language isn’t all about the bedroom. A person whose primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility are crucial, while neglect or abuse can be unforgivable and destructive.

Which one do you most relate to?

I'm a quality time girl with a sprinkling of acts of service. My husband is a Words of Affirmation/ Physical touch guy.

Specifically from your past? Or are there things that, because they happened before you met, are left up to your own discretion as to whether to share them? I'm not talking about anything that may endanger his/her health, but something he/she should know if it happened current day.
