I've always wanted to try butternut squash. I tried growing them but somehow I got runner beans and my only successful plant was given to a neighbour as a gift! So I've bought a butternut squash that sits on the side waiting for me to decide how to use it.

Matt announced that 'Grandad says they are the most tasteless and boring vegetable in the world!' I need to prove them both wrong. So does anyone have a really easy, frugal and tasty recipe for me to use my butternut squash and convert the guys into squash lovers?
