I blog to free the torment. Writing is a great release for me even though I prefer to keep it to myself.

It is a creative outlet for me.  As a stay at home mom without work outside the home I need something to keep my mind busy that has little to do with motherhood.  I include stories about my family and kids of course... they are a huge part of my life... but neither of my blogs are about motherhood... I think about that too much as it is.

A few reasons:

1. To hold myself accountable to the changes I want to make in my life.

2. To document life. I take way more pictures now and try to find different activities to do instead of wasting time. I don't want to forget about all the little things.

I have to agree with some of the other responses. I too, started writing to keep family & friends updated on my son but now it is my mental release. I have been out of work for 2 years now and I figured my blog could showcase my writing skills and may lead to opportunities. I figure it would be a nice way to get into something that not only pays but is also something that I love doing.

I blog to express myself, share my work of art and hear from people back by comments and reviews..

Blogging is fun ..

I consider blogging my creative outlet.  It's also occasionally a place I can rant to people who are dealing with similar issues.  Then there are days like today when my blog is just a place to share something that's too funny to keep to myself :)

I blog because blogger lets me blab away. It's better than bombarding my friends ;)

Hey Mama Kat! I blog because I want to get an audience so I can someday be a published author. I write non-fiction and I read a "how to get published" book. It said having a blog is a great wait to promote your writing before you ever have it in print, so I took the leap. At first blogging was a little hard for me but now I love it just as much as my fiction writing. If I could be a professional blogger and a published author I would be living the dream :) Right now I am working on building my audience and blogging friends. I want some real buddies who love blogging as much as I do.

Thanks for sharing my blog on here! It was so fun to see that you visited my blog :)

I blog because it gives me an opportunity to reach people million miles away from me and still search the good news

We all have so much to teach other people based on our unique life experiences. Since my wife and I both work from home, we use blogs as a way to not only train and inspire our team members, but a way to leave behind knowledge and wisdom which has been gained over the years.

Oh, and being an Introvert, it is much easier to express my true feelings blogging, as opposed to talking with someone face to face! :-)

Blessings,

Ron
