Welcome to our BlogFrog Community Group!

We have been chatting within our accountability groups, but now it's time for us to chat over our entire group.

Let us know who you are so we can pray for you and cheer you on through the reading.

So who am I? I'm Amy and I first read the Bible in 90 Days in 2003. I had always wanted to read the entire Bible and tried several times, but the 90 days plan helped me to actually finish. In case you can't tell, I LOVE this program! And I am so thankful to all of the volunteers who have helped to keep our version of it going.

I am mom to three little ones, ages almost 5, 7 and 9, and host one foreign exchange student. Our family lives in the suburbs and we like to travel together... sometimes to faraway places, sometimes just into the city for a show or an overnight. My husband and I cycle a lot, too.

So.. who are you? What made you decide to read with us?

All About His Grace Blog Network

I'm really excited to start doing the "Bible in 90 days" with everyone... but have a couple quick questions (for Amy or anyone).

What was your childhood like?

For me, childhood was wonderful. In fact I feel like I still see most things with the joy of a child especially since becoming a mother.

After my Nanny gave us her autobiography, I was so touched to learn particularly about her growing up years. She inspired me to start a new blog called MommysPiggyTALES.com.

The idea is for moms to link up once a week for 15 weeks starting June 10 and start recording stories of their youth starting with the day they were born and ending with a post high school post. Vlogging is okay too.

I think a few recorded childhood memories of you would be a priceless gift to your children and others. What about grandma? Do you know what growing up was like for her? You should interview her. My Nanny had a pet goat.

Thanks ladies! I hope you'll consider it! What is one of your favorite stories to retell from childhood?

The purpose: to post our Endless Praise of our Heavenly Father. There's a post at http://EndlessPraise4Him.wordpress.com where I go into more details about the inspiration. I got my Day 30 reading done a few minutes ago, and I had jotted down some questions while I was reading. I notice that from today's reading we are reviewing, almost verbatim, reading from 2Samuel. SO....1. Is there any idea who wrote each, or why the repeat?2. 1Chron.15:29 repeats what was said in 2Samuel about Michal despising David in her heart. What made her change? David LOVED her when they were first married, and I assumed it was reciprocated.3. I am unclear on the when or the how..... Did David reunite the tribes of the Israelites? It seems like he did, since thousands of men from Menassah and Judah joined his army.If anyone has some insight into these, I'd love to get some dialogue going. I'm really curious, and I just love all of this reading!

Division of Labor: Who does what at your house?

After 10 years of marriage and 8 years as parents, it has occurred to my husband and me that we've never really defined our roles and division of labor. We are working on coming up with that list now so that we can have realistic expectations of each other. Sooo.... Who does what at your house? Feel free to list kids jobs, as well.

B 90 Days Readers on Twitter

A few of you have asked for a Twitter list of those reading the Bible in 90 Days along with us. Try to listen each Friday. Has anyone listened to Week 1 yet? (You should listen to week 2 on Friday 1/8)If so.. What did you think?

Bible in 90 Days Questions

In Exodus 13:9, what 'Law of the Lord' is God referring to? Moses hadn't been given the 10 commandments yet. Funny, I've never noticed that before. As a funny note, it always makes me laugh when I read about the plague of the frogs. The Egyptian magicians tried to duplicate it? In their own homes and land? What were they thinking? When Moses gave Pharaoh the honor of setting the time when Moses would pray to stop the frogs, he said "Tomorrow"? Not "Now!"? What was he thinking? Anyway, any one know what 'Law of the Lord' God is referring to?

Reading the Bible in 90 Days to your kids

For those of reading the Bible in 90 Days to your children, I'm curious...
