Started by Jenny , author of Home is where you start from 6/24/2010 11:24:05 PM

I am looking for good book recommends for a book that has helped you/motivated you to be a better you- better at motivating yourself to get things done, better at organizing, better at not settling for mediocre/bad days.  Basically, I got a tweet from a life coach and realized, I would love to have a life coach but can't afford one..so i was wondering if anyone had read a book that really helped them in these areas?

Help with setting goals as a blogger/writer...mom and getting over procrastination, wasting time.

anyone?  :)

My mother-in-law is a life coach, she has written a few books. Here is her website if you want to check it out.

you know you aren't doing so hot when you start to seriously consider hypnosis to deal with your procrastination problems...

Have you ever heard of a book called Getting Things Done? If you want a glimpse of it, there is a financial blogger that wrote an excellent summary on this. May be you can check out his blog and decide from there whether to purchase/borrow the book or not.

Jenny, I'm a life coach and health coach.

When I was studying to become a life coach, we were assigned the book, Take Time for Your Life, by Cheryl Richardson, which was fabulous. But now, I'd recommend her latest book, The Art of Extreme Self Care. Great book!

Also, you can call into her radio show, Coach on Call, for free on Mondays at 5 pm Eastern on Hay House Radio, and she'll laser coach you.

Hi Jenny.

I'm also a life coach and found Martha Beck's "Finding Your Own North Star" to be incredibly helpful when I was looking for some direction and help a few years ago.
