My main SEO tip is whenever you're linking to something, make sure to optimize your anchor text (the anchor text are the words you click on).  Many people will hyperlink to the words "Click here" or "this link" or "this article" or something to that effect.  You want your anchor text to be something descriptive--think of what people might type into Google to search for something.

The same rationale applies when coming up with a title for your post.

that anchor text optimizing is something I've definitely done wrong in the past- great reminder... I should print out a list and have it in a binder beside me when I sit down to work on my blogs...

Questions...

Is it OK to repost an article?  For example, I have an article on Report Card FREEBIES that I would like to re-publish about every 9 weeks (when children receive report cards).

Also, if I discover that a guest post contains lots of duplicate content...what should I do?  I now know to check for duplicate content before posting!  If I simply remove the post is that bad for SEO?
