Love it!  Maybe the extra exposure will help solidify our roles in marketing as the "real consumers" or the real perspectives to help companies brand their products.

I thought the article was great and gave some wonderful exposure to the SITS (Secret is In The Sauce) and several individual bloggers.  Nice validation for our space!

Thanks for the heads up. And don't forget to read the comments, too. (Click on "Share Your Thoughts" under Motherlode on the left hand column of the second page of the article.)

I thought it gave some great exposure, though I can see why/how it has sparked so much interest and discussion. Holly, from BlogFrog, wrote a fantastic and thoughtful post about it this morning. http://breadcrumz.blogspot.com/2010/03/new-york-times-friend-or-foe-to-mom.html

Did anyone else notice how with all of the links in that article, Dooce and Pioneer Woman were not linked...? They were mentioned and typed, but not hyperlinked...

I still have mixed feelings about it. I can see why it came across patronizing and condescending, but did have some decent information in it. But I am loving how it is bringing this community together and the responses people are having to it on their own blogs.
