Are you tempted to compare yourself to others, especially moms? How do you deal with this? How do you encourage others in their individuality?

Hi Mary! For me, childhood was wonderful. In fact I feel like I still see most things with the joy of a child especially since becoming a mother.

After my Nanny gave us her autobiography, I was so touched to learn particularly about her growing up years. She inspired me to start a new blog called MommysPiggyTALES.com.

I think a few recorded childhood memories of you would be a priceless gift to your children and others. What about grandma? Do you know what growing up was like for her? You should interview her. My Nanny had a pet goat that even followed her to school one day.

The idea is for moms to link up once a week for 15 weeks starting June 10 and start recording stories of their youth starting with the day they were born and ending with a post high school post. Vlogging is okay too.

Thanks ladies! I hope you'll consider it! What is one of your favorite stories to retell from childhood?

If you are a Martha Stewart and can go on 5 hours of sleep, I don't want to hear from you. LOL. But, if you need at least 8 hours of sleep (preferably 9-10) each night, and you're a busy mom, would you mind sharing your "schedule"? I am particularly interested in how you work in: Quiet time/Bible study/"Me" timeBlogging/Computer timeMeal planning/shopping/cookingCleaning/laundryTime with kids/family timeOther work commitments (esp. if you work outside the home)Other hobbies/volunteer commitmentsWould love to hear from you all!!!

Do you have a newsletter?

I'm beginning a new newsletter and wonder how many of you have one and have successful feedback from it?
