I have been divorced now over 5 yrs and it has not been easy but it has been extremely rewarding.
People marry to stay married, I did. I also did everything I could to make it work. I went 9 yrs to counseling 4 yrs to al Anon. I have 2 kids  and they needed to knmopw that the way our family life was, is not how I want them to  live theirs, so I had no choice , as the D(X)H became increasingly drunkr and became more violent.

Now which brings me to the question. How do you meet people? I am a mother and a packaged deal. I am never going to put a man before my childrens well being. They come first as long as Im responsible for their upbringing.

It is not easy, I dont go to bars, I dont have very many single friends, I dont see anyone at church and I  dont have friends with quailty  prospects. So It aint EZ ! 

Are there many of you out there who are divorced and remarried or in my boat? Just curious . Whats your story????
