I'm just finishing the Art of Devotion by Samantha Bruce-Benjamin.  I'm not sure how to review this one just yet.  Next up is The Confessions of Catherine Medici by CW Gortner.  I'm really looking forward to it.  It looks fantastic.

I've heard of the Art of Devotion, but not the Confessions one.  Sounds interesting!

I have Shanghai Girls in the TBR.  How was it?

I just finished Chasing Brooklyn by Lisa Schroeder - AMAZING!  And I am starting Private by James Patterson!

I am reading Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh (pronounced Shay), the CEO of Zappos.  His company is a poster child for how to do social media right and leverage it in positive ways to connect with users.   In the queue is a book called Inspired, also about creating a company culture that motivates employees to perform at their highest potential.  Just discovered this book community!

I liked Shanghai Girls.  At times, it was heartbreaking!  It is a historical novel and I learned a lot about Chinese Americans during WW2.  The only thing I didn't like was the ending.  I hate when books leave you hanging!

I looked in the back of the book to see if there was a sequel and didn't see one.  Grrrr.... Well, maybe you won't feel like it left you hangin'.  I just needed more closure!
