What Blogging Platform?

I use WordPress and I love it!. When I first started blogging I used blogger (the old blogger) but found it could not do everything I wanted. I have LOVED WordPress also love my theme Thesis. It is the only thing I have paid for, but for me it has been worth the money.

What do you use? Do you like it? Why or why not? Is there anything you would like to learn to do?

Hi Lori - Next to all your posts you should see a little "edit icon" (looks like a notepad).

I use Blogger for my personal blog (for simplicity) and wordpress for our professional blogs (for the features).

Love your community - it looks great!

I use Wordpress.com - thinking of moving to .org. Use blogger for a shared blog on social networking (www.coffeeshopbloggers.com)

I agree for ease of use blogger but wordpress is cool and has a lot of widgets that I am having fun with.

Well, I am still sticking to my guns on blogger! Go ahead...laugh at me! :-)

Anyhow, I like the simplicity of it and believe it or not they are coming out with more and more features. I also like Blogger In Draft options...simplicity is what I love!

Oh, and the fact that it's all free!

I'm still fairly new to blogging... blogger seemed to have the most "easy to use" reviews when I first started last year. I've noticed a few of my favorite bloggers have switched to WordPress BUT for now, I'm with Trench Mommy... It's Free and Easy... and I've got no time to start over with something else at this point.

Thanks for stopping by Cara! I totally understand, as I stated I started with blogger also. I do have to admit Blogger has made a lot of changes since I have switched.

Just wanted to make sure you knew Wordpress is free also.

I think both platforms have their benefits.

I was on blogger for years but now am on WP and Thesis and would never go back. it is great and so cutomizable. is that really not a word?
