KSL Studio 5 is having a 10 Day Challenge on Motherhood. If you want to join go to KSL Sudio 5 and click the 10 Day Challenge button. Today I am sharing my message about my mother.
My Mother's Day Tribute is for the wonderful woman I call Mom. I was born the end of Dec but I did not meet my Mom until June 9th. The kindest woman in the world adopted me when I was six months old. Every year on the anniversary of my adoption she would tell me the story of when we first meet. The tone in her voice as she told the story always expressed her joy to have me as her daughter. She would make it sound like she was the luckiest woman in the world. But the real story is how blessed I am that she choose to share her life with me. There is no greater blessing in my life than my parents love. I do not take anything my parents do for me for granted. I really appreciate their support, love and sacrifices. My attitude of gratitude may come because I believe that my life has been so blessed due to the choice they made to adopt me. On this Mother's Day I want to share some of the things I learned from my mom. My Mother taught through example. She was always happy, grateful and hard working My Mother thought me: To love nature To serve others To respect my elders To love to read To cherish friends To appreciate order To love animals To protect the weak To manage my money To be honest To work hard To nurture the sick To teach and share with others I want to tell my Mom and all of the mom-stuff friends how much I appreciate my mother. I hate to think how my life would have been without her and my Dad. Thanks Mom, for all you have given me. I hope to share many, many more years with you. Your daughter, dianne
