Weekly Writing Schedule

I know that Gabe does this and I was inspired to do it as well. You take each day of the week that you write and make it a theme. I need some organization and consistency in my posting so I thought I would give it a try. Here is what mine looks like:

  • Sunday Stalker - Where I am going to do link love to my favorite posts from the past week
  • My Take Monday - Opinion Post on products, news, whatever
  • PhoTuesday - Photo post
  • What's Up Wednesday - A recap of what's been going on in my household
  • Thursday Trade Off - Guest Post
  • Friday - 5 Question Friday & Macro Friday (the memes I participate in)
  • Second Look Saturday - Where I revive an old post or rewrite an old post idea.

What do you think? Would doing this be beneficial to you as a blogger and also give your readers a heads up of what to expect from you?

I think its great!  Im a bit jealous.  I wish I could write everyday.  Just cant with work and crazy kid schedules.  Maybe I could do a 4 day a week schedule?  Hmmmm...

So far on Deva Coaching I've got:

Mon - Coaching theme

Wed - Your Words (sharing thoughts on a photo)

Fri - Follow Friday (Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things)

I've tried the regular schedule of topics, I cannot make it work. I'm an impulse writer I guess...

Me too!! The only thing I have done consistently is the Wordless Wednesday posts!

Blog schedules work great for some blogs. And when you have memes they look forward to it.

Hi! Newb here.

I recently participated in National Blog Post Month where I had to write one blog post a day for 30 days. That kicked me.

I do need more consistency in my blog and not the complete randomness I have now. I was considering going along with a few ideas that others have given me like Wordless Wednesday or Wordless Weekend. I am trying to bring my blog back to food as I initially intended but I haven't written a blog post since NaBloPoMo ended on 11/30 so 3 days now.

Chances are I won't write 7 days a week any longer but I do like the ideas of a theme. Nice way to keep organized. cool

I really need to try a writing schedule.  I tend to be all over the place with posting, I'm sure having a schedule would make the world of difference ...

Watch this space LOL ....

i'm posting everyday but not even so organized- maybe someday soon...... good idea!

Hmmm... very curious. It never occurred to me to have a blogging schedule. I might just make one this weekend. I just started blogging publicly and currently have three blogs. One for health/fitness, one for crafty goodness, and one to serve as my home base.

I will give this some thought and post a new schedule at cleverknots.wordpress.com (my homebase).

Thanks! I think this is exactly the kind of kick in the tushie I needed.

:)

This is where I give you a list of "no-nos" You see, I am a mom and quite frankly am tired of the "No-No" bit. Use what is supposed to be common...common sense, common courtesy; we will get along just fine.
