I'm Lula Lola.  My used to call me Lula Lola Maddy May Jane Scooterbug Drakeford Truesdale.  I've got the story here.  http://lulalola.com/2010/01/20/%e2%80%9clula-lola-maddy-may-jane-scooterbug-drakeford-truesdale-%e2%80%9d/

Sorry, I can't figure out how to create a link.  I click on the little ball and chain thing and nothing happens.

It's a crazy name, but suits me, I think.

Troop Petrie, I wanted to leave a comment on your blog, but it told me the comments were disabled.  I hope it's okay to leave it here.  I loved that Francine Rivers book too!

GREAT discussion! I love hearing about the names behind the blogs.

For me, I have always loved crayons and colors. My children got that "color gene" from me as well. The first time I was trying to teach my oldest how to color in a coloring book, I thought she was doing it all wrong. I wanted to correct her. She had a meltdown and I realized that she just taught me. Coloring outside the lines has become our motto for teaching our children. Letting them explore the boundaries with their creativity and see things they way that they want to, to think outside the box...outside the lines.
Then came the day I discovered a masterpiece on the wall....

The rest is history

Great story, Crayon Wrangler!  And Lula Lola, that is such a cute name.  Pam, yours always makes me smile - at ds's daycare they call the nursery the Baby Troops - so cute.

Mine is Keep Calm and Carry On.  Because that's what I have to do most days, with a special needs (in the process of diagnosis) toddler, a 10 year old who's just starting with the moods, and two insane dogs.  Also, I saw it on the t-shirt of a tv presenter and it made me laugh.

I named my personal blog "Chalk Wharf" because I was doing some research on my name (Chelsea) and found that it comes from the Old English, chalk wharf, which means 'landing place on the river for chalk or limestone.'

I named my "professional" blog "Required Reading" because I was completely lacking in creativity so I went with some old wisdom, K(eep) I(t) S(imple) S(tupid).

"Cop Mama", pretty self explanatory, but I'll elaborate. I'm a police officer and a mother of two boys! I write about both topics and everything in between!

I was just trying to be clever.  Not sure I accomplished that but luckily (or not so luckily) we are a Rukus most of the time and we are a family obviously so that is where I got our blog name from.

I wanted to blog about my life, feelings, experiences, etc. and since I had just had twins, I wanted to include the fact I would be blogging about that, but not JUST that.  I have way too much to say to limit it to one subject.
I try to draw on whatever super powers I can just to get through the day and one of my favorite movie lines from a kid's movie is To Infinity and Beyond!  (From Toy Story)
I just tweaked it to include the word twin.  I think it effectively describes my blog and my take on my life.  (At least I hope it does :) )

I had just found a neat website called FunAgain.com that had all sorts of games and puzzles that you can find. Even hard to find games. I'd been wanting to start a blog for a long time on families and family values. It just kind of clicked one day to call it Families Again. We need to go back to traditional values and become families again anyway, so it just fit.

I use my blog, much like a journal, writing about my walk with God, being a Mother, wife, friend et,

So I came up with REFLECTION SPACE as it is a place I can process and reflect on everything.

This is where I give you a list of "no-nos" You see, I am a mom and quite frankly am tired of the "No-No" bit. Use what is supposed to be common...common sense, common courtesy; we will get along just fine.
