The Shining - the orginal Shining not the mini-series - definitely by far the best. This year my hubby and I had a chance to go to Estes Park, CO and visit the Stanley Hotel, (Overlook Hotel), where Stephen King got his inspiration for the movie. The mini-series was filmed entirely on location but the original movie was not. We took the historical/ghost tour. I don't think I would ever have the guts to spend the night there... .

Oh, I can not watch horror films. I've always been the biggest scaredy cat when it comes to gore flicks. It took forever to be convinced to see the movie Scream when I was a teenager, and that's not particularly gory. LOL 

Hey it seems you and me are the passengers of same ship. I had also the same habit. And if it is about selecting one of the best horror movies i have watched then i would select Paranormal Activity 2.
