I've thought about switching, too, but I know that the free WordPress doesn't allow you to use advertising on your blog. I've looked at Typepad, too, and it seems like it might be easier to set up AND it allows ads.

But I'm not tech savvy, either!

I switched to Wordpress.org last month and love it. Its not hard at all. It took me a day or so to get the hang of it and now I much prefer it over Blogger. I feel safer too in light of the recent events.

It's crossed my mind once or twice, but I'm afraid I'm still thinking.

I'm afraid too. It's such an unknown and I really don't even know where to start.

This is my first time blogging and of course I had someone helping me but it's really not hard at all.  You ladies understand blogging much better then I do so I know you'll get it.. Go for it.. 

I am not sure what I think.. I think every place my have it's up's and downs.. Who knows right?

It's not hard! You do have a lot more options, and you may need someone to hold your hand at first (lots of people will help you with the transition), but it's not rocket science. If I can do it, anybody can!

If you do decide to do wordpress, you'll want to get your own hosted site. If you go with wordpress.com, you can't earn, and they actually locked me out of my blog for having too many giveaways posted. I switched to my own domain a few weeks before they "busted" me, so it didn't hurt a bit, but you really don't want to play with those clowns. They're no fun.

I switched over to Wordpress a while ago.  I had issues with the RSS feed and lost a lot of my readers doing so.  Other than that I prefer WOrdpress.

I dunno...I've never used Wordpress, but I can't stand how it won't let you post more than once in 5 seconds...that drives me BONKERS, so I hate entering giveaways on Wordpress.
