ARM & HAMMER Cat Litter Challenge - Win $1000

Started by Liz , author of A Nut in a Nutshell 6/17/2012 11:00:10 PM
There are three cats luxuriating at my daughter's house, and she calls them "the girls". Obviously, they've been elevated beyond cat status to family members. And oh how she loves the girls... except for their poopy-pee-pee cat litter business. Trying to contain the smell of three cats and all their "bizness" isn't easy, which is probably why she delegated that job to her husband. (A well played example of how to use the honeymoon stage of marriage to your advantage.) Anyhow, I suggested they switch from their current brand of litter to ARM & HAMMER Ultra Last Clumping Cat Litter for a few weeks just to see if it made the chore any less horrid. Every granule is coated with ARM & Hammer baking soda for long lasting odor control even when you can't scoop. And since I know her hubby is a little lax on the frequency of scoops, she was anxious to have a home that stays fresh all day! Penny Lane was curious about this new turn of events. ARM-HAMMER-Kitty-Litter-Penny Mony took a look as well. ARM-HAMMER-Cat-Litter-Mony Siouxsie never showed up. Siouxsie And so the challenge began.

The maker of ARM & HAMMER® products challenged me to switch to ARM & HAMMER Ultra Last Clumping Cat Litter and this summer, they are giving away $12,000 in the ARM & HAMMER Switch & Save Challenge Sweepstakes. To be entered to win one (1) of twelve (12) $1,000 prizes, simply reply to the question below!

While we don't have cats, we do have a dog who just turned a year old. The hardest part of having Harvey is seeing his hair around our home. He's short haired so it's not too bad, but I'm a neat freak so it's still frustrating.

Getting my cat to keep his claws off, he scratches the wall instead of the litter and we have to put up a barrier for him to scratch. We have tried different brands of litter and our Cat pretty much does the same thing.

My biggest challenge is keeping the area around the litter box clean. My cat won't use the litter box with a lid. There is always litter all over the floor.

My biggest challenge is the litterbox. Everything from the feeces and urine odors to the little granules of kitty litter that tracks outside the box and all the way down the hall. 2dogs5catscrew@att.net

I have 8 cats, so keeping litter from being tracked all over the house is my biggest challenge.

All the hair!

Oh man I would love to try this! I had to move the litter box upstairs while the chicks are in the basement, it is now in my bathroom, I have a weak tummy and cannot stand to see it. I guess the smell, I only have one kitty to.
