massage gone wrong, HELP

Started by trooppetrie , author of Troop Petrie 7/22/2011 7:22:33 PM

I have been having crazy headaches in the back of my head. My friends kept telling me it is stress but they started before i had stress. A friend said i needed to go to the malll and let them do a 30 minute massage. she said she does it every time she gets a stress headache and it instantly goes away.

I have had great massages before so going to one of the places in the mall in public seemed weird. I went and almost cried the entire time. it hurt so bad. I assumed it was because i was so tense and tight. he was able to pop my back which even a chiropractor has had trouble doing.

I left in pain and thought okay start drinking water and it will be better. when i got home and took off my shirt it looked like i had rug burn on my back. Today i can hardly move and I actually have bruising on my back. I cannot believe how bad it hurts.

any suggestions? has this happened to you?

Oh my...it sounds like some form of torture!!

How is the headache, tho? Perhaps your friend's headache went away because the rest of her was so miserable!! ;)

Have you tried ibuprofen, maybe? Ice? Cool baths?

Good luck my friend...

head ache is still there, i should probably go to the Dr for it, it has been a few months now. it is so weird it is behind my ears but closer to the base of my neck. i do not mind when it hurts but sometimes it gets shooting pains. My hero will be home next week and I will probably go in.

i told my friend sunday about the massage and she said "why did you not tell him he hurt you". uhhh because I was a whimp and i was trying to use all my lamaze breathing techniques to get it through the 30 minutes
