Ideas?

Started by Sandy , author of Pardon My Dust 3/3/2010 12:04:10 PM

Hey ladies,  I've recently been invited to be a guest blogger on a local blog that is geared at families with smaller kids.  My niche will be crafting and budgeting.

What kinds of postings would you expect and/or like to see from that kind of blog?

(note:  this will NOT be a match coupons to sales ad thing, though)

Any input is greatly appreciated!

So, are you budgeting for crafting, or just budgeting and just crafting?

One thing we did in our Early Childhood group was make "craft bucket" for our kids...a handy Rubbermaid tote filled with fun, crafty stuff for the kiddos...

Amazing what "crafty" can be to a young one...maybe something along the lines of this?

to answer your question, its both.  Since we live on a showstring budget, she wants me to give pointers how to do that, and wants me to do step-by-step crafts/activities that anyone from any budget can do.

I would want to see several age group appropriate craft examples. I would want to see a break down of the budget costs and any "substitutes" that could be used. I would want to see pictures of the crafts in the "construction" stage and completed.

I love Shalyce's idea...and Jessica's suggestions, too!

What things can you find around your house to get crafty with!
