What is your biggest family/household challenge?

My pantry is too small it's always way too cluttered and unorganized.

Yup, a nice big house with four kids and a small pantry like the ones you see in one or two bedroom apartments. It doesn't fit, right? I mean, don't get me wrong. I love our house. We got nice size bedrooms, a comfy patio that we enjoy around this time of year when the weather is perfect. But the pantry and the laundry area have been one of my biggest challenges when it comes to organizing and making our house look neater.

Here are a few photos of our pantry that I took just today:

It's so small and always jammed up I have no choice but to put some of the overflow grocery items on top of our new laundry dryer -- which sits right across from the awfully small pantry! I know... it doesn't look good.

So, I'm going to do something about this problem before it gets way out of hand. Stay tuned next month to read my Genius Tip on how I beat this challenge!

How about you? Do you have any pantry or closet organizing challenge that you'd like to share? For a chance to win the new iPad2, comment up here and ‘like’ Kenmore on Facebook and let me know in your comment reply here that you “liked” them.

I have the same problem and the worst part is I can't see what I have behind all of my groceries! I would so appreciate if you can help my pantry!

My biggest household problem is the Laundry room. It isn't organized in a way that allows me to use the space well. I don't have good laundry baskets, so the clothes and towels end up taking over the floor. I don't have a shelf or cabinet to keep the laundry soap, so that is also on the floor next to the washer. It is a big mess.

I think I have the same pantry as you and Lori! And the laundry room is awkardly right to the right of the pantry... Neither are organized and I want more space (don't we all) but my real challenge is kids clothes. I have four kids and our community closet looks like an avalanche - literally. Clothes have exploded everywhere! Thankfully its all contained in one closet, but still!

My pantry is big enough, but when we moved from Utah to Texas, we lost more than half of our storage for other things...like off season clothes and such. So, it has become an organizational nightmare trying to figure out where to put everything that we had in storage and now have no place for! I like Kenmore on facebook :)

My biggest household challenge is wall space, and organization. My husband and I are both pack rats, and he accepted this huge entertainment center from a friend.  It's beautiful, but it fills up one wall, and the way the house is set up, doors, window placement, etc, there isn't any room for the other furniture (ie, the antique and other pieces that I've accepted for free from friends).  And of course, I can't bring myself to get rid of anything, so my decorating style is 'cluttered!"

PS. I LIKE KENMORE ON FACEBOOK!!

We have a snack/cereal/catchall cabinet that is stuffed full of... well, stuff. We also have a closet that goes under our stairs. The part toward the front is our pantry. The problem is we don't seem to have enough shelves to store things. It's sort of overflowing, also.

I've liked Kenmore on facebook. My organizing challenge is that my mom and I are not on the same page when it comes to what we eat or how we store it. What's the compromise?
